Im sooo glad your on a Haysey Dazy Darren Fantasey high Laurie!!!! *remembers when Marie and I suffered our incurable Darrenitis*
now if I can just comment on the journal entry?? yeah..
I did like it yahhh.. I like the snippet of the song and I hope the album is great.. nothing like SPIN and more in the SGish style. I guess what I loved most is *ahem* He has to go to a dark place to write this album.. stab a few old wounds.. everyone knows I love moody, angsty type of music so this is a good thing. Also I kinda feel like jsutified against the sanctimonious (sp) few who always had to point out how happy Darren was now and in this chapter of his life .. its was all hes happy happy happy. I mean happy is good but alas there was DARKNESS and he wasnt all chippy chappy after all. Sorry just love to see the dark side of him come out sometimes.

At the risk of being thumped, it's nice to see Darren is human and is willing to share his not so good experiences. I think the Spin era was a huge mixture of emotions for him, especially the savaging he got from some of the Aussie media.

I'll say this over here as well, since it doesn't seem to have sunk in to the fans over there --->
I am glad that people feel excited ok? however, I am sick to death of people having a go at me and/or my friends just because we don't feel the same way for whatever reason.

I agree Michelle!!!
As I've said recently Darren's fans also seem to be damned if they do and damned if they don't!!!
Sometimes it's just like banging your head against a brick wall.
Anyway time for bed it's way past time for me to turn back into a pumpkin, lol!
It's also now 13/9....one whole year, unbelieveable, where has time gone?

Only the next several months Laurie?
I have been playing the albums too, but mainly because it's a year tomorrow since I saw Darren's TCFC tour here in good ol Adelaide!
I'm afraid my excitement has been somewhat dampened by the intolerant, inconsiderate, hard, cold, nasty, dictatorial attitudes of some *fans* who cannot accept the fanbase is a diverse community with many different opinions, all of which are valid
Lets go with another

Darn it! I wrote this long reply and for some reason it disappeared before I could hit reply! *grumbles and kicks computer*
Let's see if I can remember what I wrote! lol
I really love all of Darren's moods. I look forward to hearing the influences of his happiness, his anger and his sadness. When I listen to his words it is like I feel them deep inside of me, as if they belong to me, and I love that feeling
There isn't alot that can get me down when I am on a Darren High *sigh's happily* except for one thing... when fans send messages to other fans saying that what they feel is not right.
Feelings are personal posessions. They aren't materialistic and inanimate objects. And they are my right. If I want to feel sad because there have been no new photographs of Darren for 3 months when previous a pattern had been established of new photos appearing at the beginning of each month, then that is my right.
It is no one's right to tell me that what I feel is wrong. My feelings are a part of my soul and it's wrong to deny anyone of that. It is just plain wrong to hurt someone that way.
Okay... I've had my ramble. Time to put the music back on and dance. Woooooo! Hoooooo!

btw - the above rant is not directed at any one in particular. It's just me ranting after a long day and some frustration.

I know things have been err...heated over there in the last couple of days, but dammit, I still want to go there cos people I like post there AND I've bloody well paid for it.

They've changed the layout (again) and it's probably causing some probs, like it did with Barb's account. I hope yours hasn't been deleted like hers was though!
<----- just in case.
